Bring hands to hips. Firmly push your right foot on the floor and engage the right leg, slightly lift your left leg and bring the left foot to the left ankle.
Lengthen your tailbone toward the floor, bring the bellybutton towards the spine and keep the shoulders far from the ears.
If you feel comfortable to this point, bring your foot to your calf.
If you still feel comfortable and your balance is stable, grab your left ankle with your left hand and bring your foot on your opposite inner thigh, with your toes towards the floor. Push with your foot into the thigh and with your thigh towards the foot.
When you find your balance, slowly draw your hands together at the center of your chest in prayer position.
If you feel comfortable with your hands in this position, straighten your arms towards the sky keeping your shoulders far from your ears.
Repeat on opposite side.
