Hi friends, after months of anticipations and sneak peeks, welcome to The Two Martinas! It’s time to reveal you what we have been working on: here you can find out about how we met and came up with the idea of this space!
We are Martina and Martina (yes, really), two yoga teachers brought together thanks to a common passion for yoga and a healthy lifestyle. We had already met a couple of times at different sport related events here in Milan, but we had never had the chance to talk to each other. Being totally honest, one of us, Martina Rando had tried to break the ice and talk to the other, but she was gently ignored more than once. For some reason Martina Rando did not give up on her ‘’imaginary friend’’ Martina Sergi, and kept trying, until one day, after a meet up organized by Claudia Casanova, the ‘’shy’’ Martina finally opened up and we became an unbreakable team.
Since then we started working out together and hitting the gym every day, doing both real and fun workouts accompanied with hours of chatting and talking (once Martina Sergi overcomes her shyness she talks a lot, really a lot). Soon enough we started to practice yoga together and with time we learned how to adjust, guide, help each other in our own practices. For a lucky coincidence, we not only share the same name, but we are good at different things, in this way we can help each other improving in our ‘’weak points’’.
Once we realized how helpful was practicing together, we thought to help other people on their yoga and fitness journey. At the beginning we started posting on our Instagram pages video tutorials, pictures, challenges etc. Soon enough we decided to team up and create our own space. That’s how we came up with the idea of The Two Martinas, a little space where we want to share our knowledge, experience and passion with those of you that are starting to get in touch with the world of yoga and fitness and with those of you that are already part of this magic word. At the same time we hope we can encourage and inspire our followers to work out and practice together, because having a passion is something awesome, but having someone to share it with is an unique blessing.
On The Two Martinas you will find four sections:
- Yoga: here you will have an area dedicated to yoga poses tutorials and another area with yoga flows. We are also planning to add some news to this section, above all about yoga with partners.
- Workout: here we will give you some mini workouts to do at home and some fun workouts to do with a friend.
- Food: here we will share some of our favorite healthy recipes 🙂
- Blog: the name speaks itself. In this area we will share with those of you who have the pleasure to read us, our thoughts, experiences, activities and everything else!
